SAKIT APPENDIX?????

assalamualaikum..
ye ari ni saya nak bercerita pasal sakit appendix or in the medical termnya acute appendicitis...
penyakit ni memang sangat common kan..waktu zaman sekolah dulu pn slalu je dengar pasal someone yang aku kenal have this kind of penyakit and did some operation to relieve the sickness..ok so i would like to share a bit of its information to all the readers..slamat membaca and hopefully dapat la ilmu sedikit sebanyak and especially for usm 2nd year medic student it's time to revise,exam is coming!!!!!

introduction / pengenalan..
-lelaki are affected more often than woman in ratio 1.5:1(takda la byk bza pn rationya..tapi aku nampak la kebenarannya sbb until now takda lak someone perempuan yang aku knal dapat apppendicitis..so wat lelaki di luar sana berjaga-jaga..hihihi)


so how the appendix got this disease????
camne ye????in medical term we call it as pathogenesis (patho=penyakit,genesis=synthesis)

this is just a theory and the real pathogenesis is unknown

firstly,ada obstruction(tersumbat)-it can be cause by fecalith(most common),tumor, stone or worms
|
then,walaupun ada obstruction still the scretion of mucinous fluid in the appendix
|
so this will coz increase pressure in the lumen of appendix
|
this pressure cause the vein to collapse
|
so bila vein collapse,blood supply tak dapat kat appendix(this in medical term call ischemia)
|
so when obstruction+ischemic injury=favour bacterial proliferation
|
lead to inflammation(keradangan) appendix=appendicitis


*one more time said is juz a theory sbb ada je appendicitis yang takda obstruction pn..


tanda2 anda mendapat sakit appendix?????

1.mild periumbilical discomfort(means that sakit atau rasa tak selesa di kawasan bawah pusat kita)
2.rasa loya dan muntah
3.tak lalu makan
4. demam
5. constant pain at right lower quadrant region(tgk gmbar di bwh)



so tu je la..the reference is from buku robbins basic pathology..kalu ada information yang silap,sila2 la tegur,sy hanyalah bdk br blaja..hihihi

p/s buat bebudak usm 2nd year:slamat merevise ye hihihi aku byk lagi tak study wei..
menyebabkan aku ada sign of palpitation=debar=kenalin huhuhu doakan kejayaan kita bersama ye kawan-kawan hihihi
